Medical Direction

Germano Pestelli (Forlì), Specialist in rehabilitation and in orthopedic trauma, with interest on Community Based Rehabilitation. He began his activities in International cooperation already as he was director of Ausl, Forlì, involving his staff in the training of therapists and doctors in Albania and Etiopia. He collaborated in various medical education projects in Albania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Libya, Moldova, Macedonia,  after earthquakes , natural and war events. Referent of the Italian Society of Rehabilitation in the field of international cooperation for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and member of the Group for rehabilitation aid in natural disasters and in war managed by WHO.

Vicepresident – Sport

Neil MacLeod (Naples), lawyer specialized in Employment Law and Sports. In 2008 she creates within the family business an autonomous branch MacLeod Sport Consulting. President

Maddalena Di Lascio  (Milan), graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature, specialized as International Officer at SIOI, has worked in education in Austria and later at the Italian Consulate General in London.
Since 2008 lives in Milan where he worked as a foreign language teaching in higher education institutions, also taking care of a school project for the inclusion and the education of foreign students. Involved in You Able Onlus from the beginning, Spokeperson for the Association, President from 2015. presidente@youable.org

Fundraiser – Project management

Elena Bonacini, (Milan), in the nonprofit since 10 years, mainly in the field of training and campaigning. After some sporadic experiences in profit, mainly abroad, it was involved in Corporate Social Responsibility, returning finally in the non-profit, believing deeply in people’s ability to help others. info@youable.org

Samr At Aflak (Rome), degree in political science with a master’s degree in management and project management, in recent years has lived and worked in Rome and London, in NPOs  and for-profit. Specializing in communication and public relations / corporate affairs, attracted to anything that can be described as creative and original, believes that the true strength lies in the ability to maintain intellectual freedom.

Project Management

Daniela Battafarano (Milan). Many years of experience in international cooperation with NGOs and European and international institutions, expert in the preparation and reporting of complex projects, in the coordination of the Italian expatriate staff and, in the monitoring of the activities. Daniela helps You Able Onlus from three years, believing in our objectives and in our transparency in pursuing them.
